Lose Sleep, Gain Weight

I am sure we’ve often seen how people who work night shifts start gaining weight. ¬†We come up with all sorts of reasons for this. Some say people working at night eat to stay awake, or that most restaurants (or convenience stores) that are open in the wee hours usually serve unhealthy food.

A recent article in the New York Times bears out what exactly happens when we don’t get enough sleep.

  1. The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought youd have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention.
